Are you aware of how capable and powerful your mind REALLY is?

Think about this for a moment: Can you use the power of your mind to lose weight? Your brain is responsible for controlling your body, so why not let it do its job?

You see, many people don't realize the power their mind has, nor do they harness it. What they miss is the sheer fact that by using their mind effectively, they can help lose body fat quick!

Losing weight fast requires a combination of things to be effective. If you fall short of one, you won't get the results that you desire. The problem is, many people fall short simply because they aren't in the right mindset.

Without a strong mindset, it's easy to stray away from things like eating clean and ensuring that you work out when you're supposed to.

To get into the appropriate mindset, you need to make sure that you eat food that fuels your brain. This can be easily accomplished by eating a solid diet and avoiding things like simple carbs (sugars, high fructose corn syrup, white flour, etc.).

Eating a diet that is full of fruits, vegetables, and complex carbs will help fuel your mind, which will ultimately help improve your focus so that you never find yourself going down the wrong path.

If you want to lose body fat, just know that it doesn't have to be difficult. In fact, it's ultimately up to you and your overall mindset. In other words, it's all in your head.

Ask yourself a question—"are you ready to change your life?” That's the first thing you have to ask yourself. You have to decide for yourselves if you are serious about committing, and committing long term!

2. Eat to program your brain. First thing you have to know is—you have to eat to lose weight. Eat every 4 hours, you have to eat within the first 30 minutes of getting up in the morning to set your clock accordingly.

And that first meal has to have a good balance of protein, carbs and good fats. Hence, aim to eat 5 to 6 healthy meals a day to curb your cravings, and get more fresh foods into your diet!

3. Now, this is how to reduce body fat—Eating healthy. It should be your priority. When that is in order, start exercising—as it is the way to lose weight and build muscle fast!

4. Foods that make you lose weight, fresh foods—these are not magic foods, but it is healthy and more nutritious than the fatty processed foods. By eating more natural foods,, you will be loading your body with good nutrition, improving your health … and reducing body fat.

5. Pig out once a week—make it a point that this will not be a life of deprivation. You cannot sustain it—you want to develop a healthy habit you can live with! The next day, you may feel the effects of all the sugar and sodium filled food. You will learn quickly that a healthy body that's been exercising and eating right doesn't want all that fat and processed junk.

6. Lose weight and build muscle this way—STOP the long boring cardio, and get onto Interval Training plus Compound exercise!

7. This is how to reduce body fat, and it is worth repeating. Get your nutrition in order, as it will account for over 70% of your fat loss!

Fat Or Muscle?

The first thing that you have to figure out is how much body fat you actually have. If you have a lot of muscle, it is worth noting that muscle weighs more than fat.

Therefore, you can be toned up and have a lot of muscle, but you could still be considered overweight if you follow the body mass index. It would therefore be a good idea to go to the doctor and get yourself professionally measured to see exactly how much fat you do have.

Once you have figured out how much fat you actually have, it is then that you can plan based upon how much you need to lose.

Why Muscles are Important to Lose Body Fat

No matter how much fat you have to lose, muscles do play an important role in the weight loss process. The more muscles that you have, the more calories and fat you will burn. This is because the muscles burn calories and feed off fat. So, obviously, the more muscles you have, the more fat you will burn.

However, you don't need to be a body builder to benefit from muscle related fat loss. Simple exercises such as walking and cycling can really help to tone up your muscles and speed up your metabolism.

Eating a Healthy Diet

Of course, one of the best ways to lose belly fat is to eat a healthy diet. Cut back on the fatty foods that you eat such as pork pies, chips and cakes. You don't have to cut anything out of your diet completely. Eating the odd bar of chocolate is fine as long as you are exercising and burning off additional calories.

Try to get five portions of fruit and vegetables every day too. They give you more energy and make you feel generally healthier, which will cause you to be more active. The more active you are, the more fat you will burn,, and a healthy diet will really help with this.

Overall, there are many ways to lose body fat but a healthy diet and plenty of exercise are definitely the two best ways to healthily lose weight.

Remember that it is healthy to have some body fat,, so you should never aim to eliminate every last bit of fat from the body! You should get checked over by a doctor before you create any fat loss goals.

That way you can find out exactly how much you do need to lose, and the doctor will be able to advise you on the healthiest way to go about it.

They wouldn't grow in popularity, of course, if not for the great demand put on them. Thing is, these things don't work for the long term, and people are more likely to gain back the little fat they lost while using them.

Step 1

The first step is basic: keep a food journal. Taking note of everything that goes into your system makes you track your daily caloric intake, so it would be easier to adjust on a week-to-week basis. This step gives you control over what you eat.

Step 2

Reduce your meal portion sizes and if it helps, eat frequently with these small meals. What this does are that it keeps you satiated all day long,, so you don't have to stuff yourself come your usual meal times. This will also keep your blood sugar constant all throughout the day.

Step 3

Exercise! You want all the nutrients you take in to go to your muscles and not your belly,, so you must stimulate your muscles for growth by exercising. This also helps you burn calories fast. Running, swimming, biking, even walking will do the trick for you.

Step 4

Get active. Household activities may seem too mundane compared to what people do in the gym,, but they do burn calories. More than that, combining these chores will give you big numbers when it comes to calories burned. Clean your house, shovel snow, and play Frisbee with your dog. Just keep moving!

Step 5

Incorporate some weight training into your workout regimen. Weight training turns your body into a furnace that burns fat for hours even after the workout. Plus, when you build lean muscles, you get your daily caloric expenditure up which means more calories burned eventually.

Go and get yourself some barbells or dumbbells, or register at a nearby gym. Better yet, do body weight squats, push ups, lunges, and planks. Just don't forget to give a day's worth of rest in between strength training days.

Step 6

Stay motivated. Results don't come by the hour, so make sure you don't frustrate yourself by expecting too much in too little time. Trust in your plan and keep at it. You will see little results week by week,, but this doesn't mean you're not improving.

For a more objective look at your progress:

1. Measure your body fat percentage every two weeks using a fat caliper.

2. 2. Measure your waste every two weeks using a tape measure.

3. 3. Take pictures of your font, back, and side views every week. This will be a big boost for you.

Champions are born of hard work, so keep yourself in the game and don't lose sight of your goal. You don't have to kill yourself to get lean and lose all the unwanted fat you are carrying now.

Everything takes time, but eventually you will be building a habit that will make sure you don't go back to your fat beginnings.
